Charlotte Comer
Principal
Award-winning innovative interior designer Charlotte Comer has an eye for the unusual. She favors a monochromatic palette, juxtaposing design periods, fabrics and textures for a show-stopping eclectic look. Charlotte adds punches of color and found objects for drama. She has designed furniture, fabric, rugs and commercial spaces, but her first love is collaborating with residential clients to help them realize their dreams. Charlotte gives clients’ needs top priority in her creative schemes. She first considers functionality. Then she has the exceptional ability of visualizing each project three dimensionally before discussing with clients what it will look like and – just as important – what it will feel like.
Charlotte’s career spans more than 40 years. Born a Southerner, she received her design degree from Texas Christian University and has lived and traveled around the world. Her life experiences and the talented artisans she partners with inspire her.
Charlotte’s interiors – often characterized as “transformative” and “magical” – have been featured more than 80 times in home furnishings publications and in national news and trade media.
Michelle Langford
Associate Designer
Gifted interior designer Michelle Langford’s strong suit is space planning, thanks to her incomparable CAD skills and ability to visualize three dimensionally. Michelle focuses on balance, function and comfort as she configures a room’s walls, doors, cabinetry and furniture beyond a client’s imagination.
Michelle’s talent extends to what she calls the “the pretty part” – fabrics, paints and finishes. Her preferred style is transitional contemporary that incorporates a warm neutral palette and an unexpected mix of materials such as wood and stone. A head-turning industrial piece adds bravado.
Michelle has worked with residential contractors throughout the DFW area. She brings an energetic optimism, sense of humor, patience, common sense and efficiency to the design team.
A native Texan from Vernon, Michelle feels equally at home in either wide open spaces or the city. Her affinity for manipulating space began as a child: she loved rearranging her bedroom furniture. She earned a BFA in interior design
from The Art Institute of Dallas. She is most passionate about her family, art and beauty.
